Goals of the course
- To lay a foundation for sports-persons to build a career in sport management.
- To develop organisational capabilities of sports-persons to a level that will enable them to perform effectively as assistants to managers.

- Aspects of management needed to provide the necessary confidence to be able to participate effectively in working with and through people to market and develop sport within an organisation or a community.
