- The purpose of this syllabus is to provide opportunities for participants to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to be effective fitness Instructors.
- Demonstrate the ability to develop, select and use various strategies available in promoting healthy fitness lifestyles among the youth.
- To provide assistance for the coaches of youth development programmes to improve the fitness levels of the course.

- Completed grade 7 of a government recognized school in Maldives
- Ability to communicate in the language of instruction
